Important Update: ASO March Masterworks Series Concert Dates Have Changed
March Masterworks Series Concerts Rescheduled to March 6–7, 2026
The Austin Symphony Orchestra announces a date change for our upcoming March concert. The performances, originally scheduled for March 13 & 14, have been moved to March 6 & 7, 2026.
Why the Change?
During the originally planned concert weekend, South by Southwest (SXSW) will host a large outdoor event on Auditorium Shores. While ASO plans its concert season well in advance, we do not control outside events scheduled downtown. With more than 100,000 visitors expected in the area that weekend, parking and traffic would be significantly impacted.
To ensure our audiences can fully enjoy the concert experience, without major parking or access concerns, we have shifted the performance dates.
Already Have Tickets?
All previously issued tickets and seating assignments will automatically transfer to the new dates. No further action is required for those who plan to attend on March 6–7.
Need to Make a Change?
If the new dates don’t work for you, we offer several options:

Exchange Your Tickets – Bank your tickets for another ASO performance this season (Season ends on May 29, 2026)

Donate Your Tickets – Convert your tickets into a charitable contribution and receive a donation receipt.
