Alejandro Duque

Image of Alejandro DuqueHailing from San Antonio, Texas, Alejandro Duque is currently pursuing a Master of Music degree at the University of Texas at Austin under the mentorship of Roger Myers.

Musical activities include performances at international music festivals such as the Tanglewood Music Center, Aspen Music Festival, Music Academy of the West, New York String Orchestra Seminar, Dartington Summer School, and Franco-Americaine Recontre de Musique de Chambre. He has also enjoyed performances with contemporary music ensembles at UT and USC, and the LA-based ensemble What’s Next?.

He has also had the privilege to study with a number of illustrious artists in masterclasses and coachings, such as Peter Salaff, Peter Stumpf, Donald Weilerstein, Pamela Frank, Christoph Eschenbach, Kim Kashkashian, Carrie Dennis, and the Miro, Takacs, and Tokyo quartets. Alejandro received his Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Southern California under the guidance of Donald McInnes.
