Together. Ensemble.
“I feel the primary reason music is composed and performed is to communicate with you, to commune with you, and to send the message of the notes to your ears, mind and heart. And our job as musicians with the Austin Symphony Orchestra is to play together as best we can, and to experience the sounds with you – together – to complete the circle.
We have experienced a lot this past season and it’s time to reconnect with live music and for your ASO to connect back to you. So, with this new season we renew our celebration of Beethoven’s 250th and surround him with the greatest works old and new penned for our wonderful ensemble. Dell Hall will be filled with sounds that are other-worldly and of the earth.
Welcome back, and it’s great to be together again in music.”

Our season features eight Masterworks Series concerts, five Butler Pops Series concerts, a holiday favorite; Handel’s Messiah, the family fun Halloween Children’s Concert and the Sarah & Ernest Butler Texas Young Composers Concert.
