Do you love the buzz before a show begins? The hum of conversation in the lobby? The moment when someone says, “This is my first time here!” We’re looking for a friendly, organized, people-loving person to join our team as our next Patron Services & Box Office Associate. This role is at the heart of the patron experience. You’ll help set the tone for every performance, from first phone call to final applause.

This is a part-time, in-office role in our vibrant arts-driven community. Evening and weekend availability is required when performances are happening. That’s when the magic comes to life.
What You’ll Do
Welcome & Assist Patrons
- Greet guests warmly and assist with ticket sales in person and by phone
- Answer questions, provide event information, and resolve concerns with care and efficiency
- Ensure every interaction reflects our commitment to hospitality and professionalism
Manage Ticketing & Transactions
- Process cash and credit card payments accurately and securely
- Support box office reporting, ticket mailings, and special promotions
- Assist with comp tickets, donation requests, and community access programs
Event Support
- Support performances and special events, including busy pre-show periods
- Coordinate and support our amazing box office volunteers at every concert
- Collaborate with marketing, development, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and teamwork
Office & Administrative Support
- Welcome visitors and provide reception support at our corporate office
- Respond to email and phone inquiries in a timely, professional manner
- Pitch in where needed. We’re a collaborative nonprofit team!
Schedule
- Part-time, in-office position
- Evening and weekend availability required for performances and events
- Additional hours may be available during high-volume periods
Flexibility, reliability, and a team-first mindset are essential in this role.
What We’re Looking For
- 1–2 years of customer service experience (box office, retail, hospitality, or similar preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that are warm, clear, and professional
- Experience handling financial transactions accurately and securely
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Comfort with basic computer applications and ticketing systems (Tessitura experience is a plus)
- Experience working with volunteers or coordinating teams is a plus
- Enthusiasm for live events and community engagement
- Someone with reliable transportation
Arts experience is welcome, but a great attitude and customer-first mindset matter most.
